Our Commitment

David Carter Realtor is committed to making explorecosprings.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to real estate information, property search tools, and the brokerage services we provide.

Standard We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities — including vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive disabilities — and easier to use for everyone else.

What We've Done

• Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA minimums on body text and interactive elements
• Keyboard navigation for menus, forms, and key calls to action
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
• Forms with labeled inputs and clear error messaging
• Responsive design that works across desktop, tablet, and mobile

Areas Still in Progress

Accessibility is ongoing. We're actively improving:

• Embedded third-party tools (IDX search, calendar widgets, Google Maps) — these are partly outside our direct control, and we're working with vendors to close gaps
• Older blog content — we're auditing legacy posts and adding alt text where missing
• Video and audio content — where added, we'll provide captions and transcripts
