My path to real estate wasn’t linear. It was built through faith, resilience, and the courage to start again.
You could say real estate found me—at a point when I was open to it. I was staying with my friend Tyrell, an entrepreneur who had started flipping houses. Tyrell was getting busier and asked if I could follow up with clients interested in buying properties. I also helped manage his construction projects. My dad had been an interior designer, and my brother was a master carpenter. Having helped them both, I was no stranger to construction.
What began as two friends helping each other soon evolved into a full-fledged brokerage. It felt as if life and I had finally met—and we danced together. Until then, my path had taken plenty of detours, and I was searching for direction.

That search for direction began in college during my first real “Come to Jesus” moment. Back then, I was juggling classes and a part-time job, while partying too hard. I realized that lifestyle wasn’t sustainable, and it wasn’t making me a better person to others.
Seeking a fresh start and a closer relationship with God, I moved to Colorado Springs and began doing missionary work for a Bible college. That work led me to Australia, where I was supposed to help open a new Bible school and stay there long term. It was a difficult choice—at the time, I was engaged to be married in Colorado. I broke off the engagement, left behind a life, and flew to Australia to start a new life.
But what was supposed to be an exciting chapter turned into a nightmare. The leaders of the project confused leadership with belittling others. Constant criticism—“You can’t do this,” “You’re doing it wrong,” “This isn’t good enough”—wore me down. My responsibilities were slowly stripped away, and my confidence faded. To make matters worse, within seven months the church discovered those leaders were stealing money and shut the project down.

I returned to Texas, my home state, in the middle of an existential crisis. I was offered jobs, but I knew what those paths would look like—and I didn’t want to follow them. I wanted a different kind of life.
So, I returned to Colorado, crashed on Tyrell’s couch, and started from scratch. That’s when I got pulled into the real estate world. In 2016, I earned my real estate license. Tyrell and I opened a brokerage and brought in two more friends. I focused on representing buyers and investors, keeping the operation organized and efficient.
Eventually, I launched my own brokerage. Later, I was invited to become the managing broker for Call It Closed Realty—a nationwide brokerage. In addition to serving my clients, I now oversee agents across our office, ensuring compliance, accuracy in filing, and contract integrity. It’s a big responsibility, but it fits my strengths—organization and attention to detail.

The motivation for building my real estate career was to build my family – and we now have three amazing kids: John (7), Remington (5), and Palmer (3). When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, playing competitive pickleball, and snowboarding (I even teach snowboarding!).
Looking back, my life has been a series of hard truths, big choices, and fresh starts—but I wouldn’t change any of it. Every experience has led me to the life I have today.
Every home purchase is an investment––and that’s exactly how I approach it. Getting to the closing table is the easy part; the real value lies in understanding how a property can build wealth over time. I help clients think beyond the purchase: how to grow equity, when to sell, whether the area will appreciate, and how rentable the home will be in the future. My goal is to provide strategies that maximize the financial potential of each property.
I also ensure my clients have complete clarity on costs—purchase price, maintenance, and long-term expenses—so they can make fully informed decisions. We discuss various financing options, ways to use real estate to support retirement, and I connect them with trusted vendors for all their property needs.
Many of my clients return to work with me again and again—purchasing three to five homes, sometimes several within a year. Why? Because I get results. I solve problems, offer sound investment advice, and help them build a strong, profitable real estate portfolio.
Sincerely,
